Was getting ready to head out to a Local gunshow this morning but saw a listing in the Morning paper for a 12:30 Auction w/Mil. Surplus on the block so what to do, Gunshow or Auction...?? Fig. it would be the same guys, selling the same Old guns @ the same high prices or take a chance at the Auction...
Well I headed for the Auction... guess what, there was a 1902 CG M96/38 stright bolt in the group w/matching #'s, the disc was marked 6.50 & 1, so,so stock & about 85% on the bluing, it came with a nice sling, Micrometer rear sight, Flash hider and it still had Cosmo in the barrel & chamber... there must have been 25 guys looking at the Mil surplus, I fig. I could save shipping cost and found out they would take care of the transfer @ N/C, well to make a long story short I got it, get this, for 140.00...!!! Just had to share this... Im a happy camper....!!! :cool: :D :rolleyes: :p ;)
