Can anyone explain to me what reasoning there is that entertainment companies are given so much preference in the wording of anti-gun legislation?

I mean, what reasoning is there that film-makers need real guns, not replicas, anyways?

It seems that film-makers are exempt from "assualt weapons" legislation, machine guns, and hi-cap magazines. As well, it seems perfectly legal that felon actors are permitted to posess ANYTHING. Yet if my own church Pastor is permitted by me to shoot my AR in a church retreat competition, we have both broken the law.

The film industry is a multi-billion dollar industry with lots of strings to pull in the legislature.

You know about the Golden Rule. He who has the gold, makes the rules.

I know why they are pandered to.

The question pertains to the false logic someone must be using to defend such action.

I mean, surely someone has questioned the need to equip the film industry with live fire weapons, and there has been a reply.

I'm curious as to what the panderers use as a public reasoning for their actions.
