Just bought a Taurus Model 605b2 .357 revolver. Fired it downrange the first time and now I have a dent in my hand!! Damn!! I love it, though. I just know that if I ever have to use it, I'm going to need ear surgery afterwards.

Plus, I got silvertip bullets, in case I"m attacked by werewolves.

ROTFL :D Yeah, I shot my .357 (Taurus 650) once and only once without ear protection. I thought it would be wise to know what it sounded like in case I ever had to fire in self defense. Ouch!

Congratulations on the purchase.

What's the old saying? Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Better to have ear surgury than have your ears buried. As far as the dent in your hand, shoot .38 spcls for practice and just keep the werewolf killers for protection against the predators. Good choice for ammo. You can't beat the silvertips for personal protection. I don't know if they are on sale everwhere, but I just bought some .357 mag. silvertips at my local Wallmart last weekend for $20.00,normal price $24.37. They had all of the handgun ammo on sale, not just the Winchester.
Double ear protection is in order when practicing with your snubby. Foam ear plugs and ear muffs.
