Buying a Kahr P40...Standard or Covert?

For those of you unfamiliar with the terminology, the "covert" model has a 0.5" shorter grip and holds one less round (.40 short and weak). It comes with a 5-round mag and a standard 6-round mag with a grip extender. I am wondering if the covert model is appreciably easier to conceal. Losing the extra round doesn't bother me, but having a solid draw and a good grip on the pistol is a must. Right now I am leaning towards the standard model.

I have the covert, if there wasn't a price difference, I would have rather have picked up the Micro Kahr instead.
Either way, with the short grip, you are only going to fire a couple of rounds when needed, and I didn't find control too difficult. But for an extended range session, the extended magazine was much more enjoyable/comfortable to hold.
If you get the Covert, and don't like firing with the flush mag, you could also get a pinkie extension from Pierce Grips.
The way I was trying to conceal, the extended magazine feels like it is poking out more, but my wife said either way she didn't notice it when we were modeling in the house.

How large are you physically and how big are your hands. I'm 5' 8" and weigh 125lbs and have the K40 Covert. Reason I mention my size is cuz I have to use the extended mag - otherwise my little finger dangles down and I hate that. I can shoot well with either mag but that dangling pinky just bothers the heck out of me. I'm also a big advocate of try before you buy - wish I'd heeded my own advice before I bought the Covert. :D

I shot a Kahr 40 at lunch. Not sure whether it was a K40 or P40. But, anyway, I didn't care for it. Too much recoil for such a small gun. Hurts to shoot.
YMMV

I'm getting it for CCW, where its replacing my Glock 29 10mm. I don't think recoil will be an issue.
