History channel 120 min documentary with a lot of Af and Iraq intel.
Maybe of interest. One note I've heard concerned the reduction of or degradation of the country's security.
Posted 15 min into the program for those of you with a TV.
Posted and reposted for years for those using the tin foil brain bucket.

There should be a segment on the Pinkertons if they are going into the history of mercenaries.
The Pinkerton Detective Agency was hired by the Union during the war between the states to collect intelligence on the Confederacy. Pinkerton detectives (gunmen) were hired by the railroads and other businesses to pursue bandits. They were also used to put down the labor unions back in the late 19th and early 20th century period.

If you're talking about the same show that covered EO (Executive Outcomes) - it was excellent.
