I have a Lyman neck size die for my .270 that I got off of ebay. It didn't include any instructions. Do I just screw it down til it contacts the shell holder or does it go further?
thanks

You may need to use a small amount of lube on the neck, I use a dry lube of moly powder and ball bearings to dip the neck in, some use graphite or "Midway Mica" and a gadget that holds brushes vertically to clean the inside of the neck and apply a little lube. I'd also reccommend you chuck the expander ball into a drill and polish it with fine emery paper to a mirror finish. This will ease thepassage thru the neck, and reduce the tendency of the expander to misalign the neck. Hope this helps. Tom
