In the city of Amberg a German gun shop owner was killed by a Samurai sword wielding 22 year old madman today!!!

The psycho went into the gun shop looking for a Samurai sword. After the gun dealer handed him the sword, he took it out of the sheat and began slashing the gun dealer with it. The gun dealer was badly hurt but still tried to get away from his attacker. The injured gun dealer fled into a neighboring shop for household article but the psycho continued his pursue. Trapped in the other shop, the badly injured and defenseless gun dealer was chopped by the madman finally. According to the broadcast news report, the inhabitants and customers of the household article shop tried to ward off the psycho while throwing table-ware and other things at him until the police arrived!(As you know, virtually nobody here is allowed to carry, not even the gun dealers....)

When the police arrived (too late, as always) they had to forcefully order the man several times to lay down the sword. Fortunately for him, he became obedient finally.

After the first interview with the suspect he told the police investigators that the he saw the satan in the gun shop owner and just answered a call from above to kill him :eek: .

According to witnesses, when this man pursued the injured gun shop owner and cried "I am archangel St. Gabriel!".... :confused:

Oh my god... Personally, I am at a loss of words...

I am an employee at a gun distributing company myself and it's been a real sad day...:(

At least no innocent people were killed by zealous gun-toters. It's a good thing that nobody was carrying a weapon; they could have hurt someone. It looks like the police were allowed to do their job unhindered by meddlesome and untrained civilians with guns.

That wouldn't have happened at the gun shops I frequent.....between armed employees and CCW holders......that guy would have been Swiss cheese.

Yup. I don't think this would happen in the US. That guy would be laid low pretty darn quick.

But, I do love how the other shop owners tried to fend him off by throwing tableware. If they had CCW, they could have thrown lead.

And, I also love how when the police arrived they had to order him to drop the sword several times. I think here, they would have ordered once then lit him up, which would have been fine.

Once again, trusting the thin blue line is the wrong choice. Silly Germany, it's the new Britain! :D

Makes me glad I live in Alaska. Anyone trying to slash a gun store owner here would wind up all over the walls.

That's not correct!

In Germany everybody with a valid gun license is allowed to carry loaded firearms in his or her house or business premises!

The gunshop owner obviously opted not to pack heat. Wrong decision. :(

Poor Satan he gets blamed for so much ! If the shop had cooking ware there are many good weapons ; knives of various types rolling pins, and a 12" cast iron frying pan makes a dandy weapon.
