If i use a gun for a CCW, do I have to also register that weapon?

It's different depending which state you reside in.

In Colorado the only guns you need to "Register" are NFA items (like machine guns etc).

You can use any handgun you own, or borrow with your Colorado CCW.

in CA, it is a whole separate crime to carry a gun that is not registered to YOU

Ditto in New York State. It must really be nice to live in un-occupied America where paople still have rights.
