...according to a poll taken by junk scientists at NJIT who have already received $2 million to develop (or pretend to develop) the technology.

Organization A, who recieves millions of NJ taxpayer dollars performs survey to determine if they should continue to recieve millions of NJ taxpayer's dollars.
Conclusion: Overwhelming support for their boondoggle!

If I'm not mistaken, there is a first principle of scientific research that says the researcher must be unbiased.

The NJIT poll found 83 percent of residents believe the government should require smart guns.
83 percent of people also watch reality TV, think Britney Spears is an artist, think Martin Sheen is really the president, think Bud Lite is beer, and believe the government's job is to give them stuff. That don't necessarily make any of that right, just popular.
