For those of you who have been able to travel overseas with a pistol, or those
person that would wish to:

A:What pistol did you take, or would take.

B:What pistol did people believe that you would show up with?


My choice has always been SIG or CZ. People are shocked to hear that
as an American, I don't want nor care for a Colt 45 automatics:)

It would be some type of 9mm since that is what is most common in the rest of the world and I love 9mms.

If it were for CCW, a Kahr K-9. If it were for self defense where concealabilty was not a big deal, I would pick a Beretta 92FS or maybe a Glock 19 or 17. SIGs are some of the best guns on the market but they just fit my hade like a Glock or a Beretta so I can't have them.:( If ergonomics didn't matter to me, it would a SIG 228 or 226 because I think they are the best made of all common production guns.

As much as I like my Sig, if I was overseas and possibly a long way from any gunshop or gunsmith, I would have to bring the Glock 17.
