I've seen K31s offered at different places online for different prices. Who has the best condition K31s? Are the AIM Surplus rifles beaters or in good condition?

Both SOG and AIM carry the rifles.

AIM had some select condition ones a while back but no longer has them listed.

Both will be about the same, the same wear on the stock at the butt.

For individually graded rifles, http://www.allans-armory.com lists each and every one he has.

Empire Arms (http://www.empirearms.com) also has K31s with individual grades and descriptions.

FWIW,
Here's a pic of the K31 I got from SOG a couple months ago.
I paid the extra ten bucks for the handpicked rifle, and it isn't in half bad condition :)

I'll second Allan's Armory. He's a VERY friendly guy, and delivers exactly what he promises. He's also had a bad time with the hurricanes, so it would be nice to help him out in the process of getting a great rifle. You will pay a bit more than at SOG or AIM, but you are essentially getting a hand-picked rifle (not just the best of the 1st 5 that some clerk picks out of the stock room. I got a 1941, which HAD to have been used to help deter the Germans from invading, for $120, and it is in very good condition (and for me the important part is the barrel). This is the same price that AIM charged for its "select grade" rifles about 1 month ago.
