DC Police Rifles

I noted on TV this am a film clip of Washington DC Police or Capital Police carrying rifle that appeared to have M 16 magazines but was not one I was familiar with. Does anyone know what this rifle was? Thanks, Byron

Most likely a HK G36K or G36 full size.

must be a misprint. civilians in DC aren't allowed to own rifles.

Don't that arsenal could have prevented 9/11, but that in the hands of US probably would have :uhoh: :scrutiny:
