I am considering the purchase of a Tanfoglio Compact 38 super for my carry weapon. Has any one on this board had any experience with this pistol? I currently carry a Taurus Millenium PT 138.

I only have a Witness 10MM compact which will be my winter carry gun...It is one of my favorite handguns...accurate and dependable.....actually have a full size Witness with the wonder finish also but don't use it as a carry gun..

What kind of ammo are you considering carrying in the 38 Super?

I like the guns, and I like the round, but much of the off the shelf ammo in 38 Super isn't radically hotter than the better 9mm... but at a higher cost.
