I've got a scanner and can post pics on Ebay. But how do you post on THR? Do you all have your own web page?

Thanx in advance.

You upload it with the message using the "attach" feature or you put it somewhere else and link to it using the "Image" feature. There are several free picture hosting services you can use if you don't have your own webpage to use.

Let me see if I understand.

I can save it to my desktop. Then go to the "attach file" and click "browse."

"Browse" takes me to my desktop. Just like Ebay.

Is that right?

then you click on the file you want to upload and submit it

Pinned,

Yes, you can do it that way. It makes the image appear as an attachment within the post, and when you click on it, the image comes up in a separate window.

If you wish to have the image appear within the thread, you need to have the photo hosted elsewhere and use the "http://" button above.

then you click on the linked file and it opens in a new window

then you copy the url:
http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?s=&postid=1296587

set it inside image tags [ img ] the url of the file [ /img ]

and you get:
http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?s=&postid=1296587

Harry,

As large as I can get it, so that I can print it out as an 8x10" at least.
