10. Mexico (It is more love/hate than outright hate, a very complicated relationship built off of old wars, mutual distrust, mutal need and cross-cultural affinity.

9. S. Korea (Dependency breeds resentment. If they saw the truth of N. Korea they might let the wool fall from their eyes.)

8. Egypt (Supposedly an ally, they are a couple of key assasinations from being a full blown regional Islamofacist headache.)

7. Cuba (Official hate from a tired old man who nonetheless loves dollars.)

6. Venezuela (Their commie wannabe Castro hates us right now. Probably a temporary condition.)

5. China (another complicated relationship. China is probably a future superpower and has some keen differences with us. Most of the time, our mutual interests more or less coincide, but when we have differences, [Korea, Viet Nam, recent "spy plane flap, Taiwan,] we disagree rather bloodily).

4. France (I cannot think of one thing the ingrates have done since World War I (except a cameo in Gulf War I) that really justifies the term "friend" or "ally."

3. Iran (Half of the leadership hates the Great Satan, the other half and most of the population want to be us. It is only a matter of time before Iran throws off theocracy.)

2. N. Korea (The Dear Leader thinks we are subverting his grip over a hermit kingdom of starving people.)

1. Iraq (We are out to get Saddam after all, and he is the state.)

Iraq, Iran, Egypt, S. Korea, N. Korea, Germany, France, England, Australia, practically every place in the world. Jealousy breeds hatred..

I wouldn't say S. Korea hates the US. College punks hate the US no matter what country they're from. Older generation of Koreans tend to be different from the punks you see protesting on CNN. Of course I fix computers and am no foreign policy expert.

I would have to add to the list a number of folks with PhDs that profess but don't teach.
