For better or worse....who do you trust?...whether their interests are selfish or honorable..Who will stand and fight with us till the end?...list them from one thru ten and give reasons if you like.

You may not be getting a full 10 out of me since I do not think there are that many who are that consistent. I'll break mine down by region:
North America: Canada--we might have differences with our neighbors from time to time, but there they were in Afghanistan with us, almost without having to be asked.
Old Europe: The UK. Remarkable as it seems, a British Labour government is backing us on Iraq (and been doing the "no-fly" thing for a decade), is spite of massive unpopularity for the official position among the large numbers of sheep in residence.
Turkey: They might haggle, but push come to shove, they have been pretty reliable in choosing us over the Franco-German axis of weasels, even over Bosnia and Kosovo which was tricky for them.
New Europe: The Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania. They have been stand-up members of the expanded NATO and are currently risking the "wrath" of Jacques Chirac, who expects them to be seen but not heard and is threatening delayed admission into the EU for their pro-American tilts of late. It does seem that those countries who were liberated by a half century of staunch anti-communism have a better appreciation of the meaning of freedom and of what it is to be really oppressed than the brief and embarrassing stint of subjugation the French suffered at the hands of the Germans imparted to them.
Middle East: Israel. Nothing need be said. Official Kuwait backs us, but some of its population seems wacked out on Wahabbism.
Asia: Taiwan. Unfortunately, they are not much internationally recognized as a country. Backs to the wall, the Phillipines hangs with us. Japan is not too bad, (more reliable than Germany anyways, but no longer a military power).
Oceania: Australia is pretty reliable, moreso than New Zealand.

Let's drop Mexico off the "friends" list. They refuse to honor the 1944 water sharing treaty and are starving our Rio Grande Valley farmers out.
They've laid charges against us in the world court regarding our death sentencing laws.
They continue to proclaim that Aztlan is the legitimate territory of Mexico.
Their multitude of new Consulates in America have openly admitted to engaging in a "militant" program of soliciting approval for acceptance of Matriculas Consulares, open borders and amnesty for "undocumented immigrants".
They have advised Tony Garza that they will not support us in our quest to have the UN take action against Iraq. I expect them to do whatever they can to oppose us.
We don't need enemies when we have "friends" like Mexico. Maybe we should add them to the frag list.

I am doggone tired of losing jobs (NAFTA), having our borders riddled with illegal aliens and drugs, and generally propping up this corrupt government. Now that we could use their help - where are they? Playing politics at our expense.

Mexico is no ally...not even a friend. Illegals of all nationalities [some with induced hatred for our way of life] pour across the border, unchecked in any sense by Mexico's government. Not only do the federales of Vicente Fox not cooperate in stemming the flow of illegals, they encourage it.
We are reduced to a silly negotiating posture on the fond hope that we can stem a tiny portion of the flood...and we're losing day-by-day.

I don't know about countries that "Have our back". Probably Isreal and the UK like Jeeper first said.
However, MANY will stand behind us. Well behind us. We're on point and the rest of the platoon is about as ready to put in trigger time as a bunch of Berkely hippies at a draft card burning.
