Equipment Rail on Firestorm Mini 40 - What's it compatible with?

I was hoping to get one of those quick-detach Laserlyte laser setups for my gun, but they only offer it for Glock/Walther/Beretta/Smith pistols. Is the Firestorm's rail compatible with these too?
If not, what the heck will fit on it, and where do I find it?
I've e-mailed Firestorm and Laserlyte, but haven't received a response.

Ok then does anyone know where I can order a Laserlyte setup? I need to find a company with a return policy in case it doesn't fit.

Was wondering the exact same thing. Look, here:

and here:

I don't know about these companies' return policies. Tell us how it works!
BTW have you found a good source for mags other than ordering directly from Firestorm??

Hello Akurat,
Thanks for the links. I've only found 2 other sources for the mags - Davidson's ($38) and some no-name magazine store on the net ($42). I know for a fact that Davidson's has them in stock right now.

I'm not sure if they do business with non-FFL's.

Beagle,
I emailed Laserlyte about their 'Quick Detatchable laser system' and asked about the exact length of the very top mounting clamps. This is the response:
The length is 1 ΒΌ inches in length.
Thank you
Mary
On my gun, the Accessory rail is 1 & 1/8. :(

Sounds like you did better than I did. I got even less assistance from LaserLyte and Firestorm on this matter.
Firestorm called it a "standard" rail, but then admitted they had never actually tried mounting anything on the Mini. Perhaps it is a matter of who you talk to at Firestorm. I am not really willing to make a long distance call to find out.
Kind of idiotic, putting a rail on a gun and then not really being sure what it fits ... somebody somewhere has to know.

Firestorm isn't the first or the last company to make a useless rail.:cuss:

Huh, didn't know the Minis come with rails nowadays. Mine don't have them.

Yes, problem is, FireStorm is just a brand name...A collaboration of sorts between Bersa and Llama(:barf: ) The company that does "Firestorm" here in the States, SGS International, is nothing more than an importer. Apparently they know very little about the guns they distribute.
Bersa would really be the ones to contact, but my Spanish is a little rusty.

Can anyone help out?

Earlier this winter, following two emails, I got a response from SGS that the Mini Firestorm rail was not compatible with any other manufacturers rail. I think they also said there were no known accessories that would fit their rail.
A definite answer, but is it correct?
