I had been planing on going to my Sig P226/9mm for IDPA. The nice High Noon rig was in, but when it came time to load the range bag, I went with the Glock 20 and .40 conversion barrel. For some reason the big Glock won't let go of me.
Shot very well for my third match. Made a few mistakes like switching to my left eye on the second and third target when shooting around the left side of the barricade.
Anyone else switch eyes when leaning way to the left?
WHO and SHO shooting were much better this time. I think I shot no points down on those stages. My new job has improved my hand strength, I think that has made a huge difference. The gun was really snapping back down from recoil nicely.
I think I'll stick with the big Glock from now on and I'll shoot full 10mm ammo next time.
I used a Glock sport/combat belt slide and it was OK although a little tight and slow. Mabey another call to High Noon is in order. That is some nice leather.
Anyone else shoot this weekend?
Anyone else like the big Glocks?
Anyone have any tips?
