Anybody own one of these? I remember reading something about it a year or so agao but i dont remember what it was that i was reading.

If i dident have other things going on i prob would have picked one up just for the $***s and giggles factor.

I havent really hurd much on it in a while so i was just wondering if anybody else had any .02 cents. And whats the general hearsay about the round and its general uses.

I was told they are available to the general public now, but the original ammo is not, leaving the target ammo that turns this AP handgun into a glorified 22Mag. But, the twnety round magazines should be out soon - the Grendel is reborn!:cool:

It looks like you can buy the Gun, 20 round mags, and ammo from Impact guns. I dont know about their priceing though.


O and everything is preorder i think.

I think those SS192's you found for sale would be a literal blast to shoot out of that Five-seveN! 20 rounds of those holowpoints would be a lot of fun but, very deadly too! They're the same ammo as the SS190 ball ammo, just 28gr hollowpoints instead of 31gr ball. :D

Tried a penetration test with my Five-Seven the other day. Just using milk jugs, nothing too professional. Looks like at 30 feet the 5.7 round would penetrate 2 milk jugs and enter the 3rd. About 14-15 inches of penetration with the hollow point round. Included a photo of 5.7 rounds with a .223 in the center.
Also shot a bowling pin with the 5.7 along with the milk jugs.
5.7 round shot clear through the neck of the pin. Exit hole same size as entrance hole. Another round in the "fattest" part of the pin entered and the bullet lodged in the pin and bulged out the side of the pin some. Guess I need to cut it out of the pin and see what it looks like.

This doesn't add much, but three of my friends bought these.
It doesn't really pull my chain, but like all guns, I am sure they are fun.
