Anyone ever consider putting a bipod on a 91/30 Mosin. If it has been done how does it work, I heard that bipods can bend the barrel after prolonged use. The extensive stock seems to me to prevent that problem. If any of you have pics of this can I see them?

I would be willing to bet that a bipod wouldn't bend that barrel anymore than wacking a charging kraut with one back in '43. I would just get a screw in QD stud and check out your mosin to see if there is a place you can get it screwed into the stock.
