Buddy of mine wants a Gerber Patriot knife but I can't seem to find any info out on this at all.

Being gun nuts also tend to be knife nuts I figured I would ask here.

Yep, I have one. i don't like the sheeth for it. Rattles. Good knife however, I still prefer my Mark II however.

Well, since Gerber no longer makes them, you're going to have to look for them on the secondary market. In other words, check Ebay. :)

I own a Gerber Patriot and I really like it. The rattling problem can be solved by inserting thin sheets of styrofoam into the sheath. Mine is for sale if someone wants to pay the price, $200.00.
