Everyone knows to survive a major Zombie attack you will need a shotgun for removing heads...which one will you choose? Remeber..you can only have one so choose wisely.

I am going with my M1 Super 90 extended mag tube and CQB sling.

Oh yeah, what would be a good round for Zombies......I was thinking maybe that slug followed 5 00 buck pellets.....

Hmmm, I would have to say a Rem 870 12ga with 8 shot total with either slugs or 00 buck shot.

well since we are talking about zombies, who attack in hordes, i'd have to choose the south african neostead.

bullpup design, pumpaction, feeding from twin mags above the barrel so you can decide if you want to use slugs (distance) or buckshot (snap shooting) from either 6 shot mag.

SPAS-15, a little red wagon half full of mags and half full of ammo, a little kid to pull the wagon, his older brother and sister to load mags, their older sister to wipe my fevered brow...

no offense BeLikeTrey, but if I'm going to bet my life on a semi-auto SG its gotta be an AK platform. I'm not quite sure what zombie brains will do to the inner workings of an Italian auto chucker (in the event that they get that close and there's some spatter).

no respones so far. perhaps someone could call them. I sent an email asking if it would fit a Charles Daley Semi auto. Hopefully someone else can give a call and see. I'd like to know how much too.

you guys forgot the "roscoe"

WOW!!! :what:

Forty rounds.....and forty pounds, I'm sure....

I'm pretty sure the weight differential would mess up inertia-recoil autoshotties like Benellis, but the gasguns shouldn't be affected.

OK, I'm limiting it to something I actually own so here goes:

http://www.eastex.net/jhendrix/win1200.jpg

10 rounds of OO goodness. My 1200 is what happens when a perfectly good Win 1200 hunting gun with a 30" barrel meets a 10 shot super-duper-extendomatic Choate tube.

I'll be throwing the big round lead at them with the Maverick 88. Hopefully, someone else will be pickin' off the farther away ones with the SKS or my US Rifle Cal 30 M1

Let's see. Zombies show up in large crowds and generally tend to beseige a fixed location. OK, I'll take a Gordon CSW-6 (CSW= close support weapon) belt- fed 12 ga. full auto shotgun.

Oh, sure, it was proposed during the Vietnam era and never actually prototyped/produced, but hey- I got as much chance of getting one as I do running into a herd of zombies.

Well, since there are no practical limits, I'd go with

A South African StreetSweeper, loaded with slugs.

Or, that Saiga 12.

I'm gonna watch Correia shoot Abomination...and I ain't even a mod. ;) Hey I' ll help Larry with the ammo and stuff, keep score or something.

Just in case , I'm going with a stock 870 with slugs for myself....I might want to get in on the action , Larry might need to let the gun cool down ....

I mean, they're already dead, before you get a chance to shoot them with 3" Magnum 000 Buck. I'm thinking of what Bruce Campbell had to do in Army of Darkness with his shotgun. So the gameplan is to either play "connect-the-dots" with the big honking buckshot holes, physically removing large chunks of undead zombie from the attack, or simply go with the slice-'n-dice Vegamatic approach. Hence my choice, a USMC 870 Mk1, using a combination of the above tactics:

I do the boy scout routine with that pumpgun fairly often, you know, being prepared and all. That includes converting disposable income into noise by means of 3" Magnum buckshot through the 870Mk1. Smooths up the gun's action, and toughens my shoulder, while curing my flinch and exfoliating my right cheek on the stock's comb. Such a deal!

So there I was, doing some CQB drills, dumping a full magazine's worth of buckshot downrange, (I think it was a Barney piƱata that day) as fast as I could rack the slide. Then I made the mistake of touching the barrel near the barrel/receiver junction as I started to add more buckshot to the magazine. There are a couple marks in the parkerizing where the gun hit the concrete after I dropped it. :what:

Had a neat scar for a while from that non-display of judgement. I'll take the knuckle-skinning from the heatshield anyday after doing that. ;)

Where can I buy that barrel clamp bayonet mount!

Otherwise, you'll have to talk to Remington or Uncle Sam. ;)

It was part of the total DoD 870Mk1 issue package. I found two sets at a gunshow a decade ago. One's on the gun, and the other's in a safe location. :D

21 rounds.

18" barrel.

AR controls.

Just hit the gym starting a few months before you want to carry it very far. Works great for 3-Gun, but not so good for Skeet.

USAS-12 is a sweet one!

I have a non-DD, magazine-fed, semi-automatic shotgun: Saiga-12

No gripes with it so far!

A sidefolder pistol-grip conversion of the Saiga 12-gauge shotgun. Looks like an Ace, Ltd. stock conversion. I suppose as long as it makes the "10-of-20" rule, it should be ok with the BATF, now that the AWB has expired.

Cesiumsponge

Right on all counts! It's completely compliant with all pertinent laws. The ATF has stated in writing that the Saiga sportster shotguns consist of 13 parts (14 for the 12C because of the pistol grip). It's got a Tapco G2 replacement FCG (3 parts), US buttstock and pistol grip. 5 US parts, but only 4 of them replace foreign parts so it puts me at 9 "evil parts". It's well within legal

It's a BLAST to shoot! (no pun intended) Will be moreso when I get some 8-rounders.

According to Resident Evil 2, a Remington M1100 shotgun is more than sufficient.

http://www.residentevilfan.ws/encyclopedia/full/re2_shotgun_lg.jpg

But I would rather use the Franchi SPAS-15, as I'd probably feel like I'd have more control with that.
