Can you guys recommend me 9x19mm ammo which is producing high muzzle flash and (relatively) low smoke? Jacketed rounds preferred.
I need this for photographic purposes (see my "going ballistic" thread).
Thanks!

The biggest, brightest muzzle flash I've seen lately was from a Remington 115-grain JHP 100-pack of 9mm Luger. They come in the green-and-white boxes. I noticed very little smoke.
The muzzle flash was simply awe inspiring. It was a cylinder of flame that extended at least eight inches from the muzzle. VERY cool.

I haven't seen that one but Hirtenberger makes pretty nice flames.

You want flash?
Photoshop the blast from a Mosin Nagant and stick it on the 9mm. :D

Thanks for the tips!
I can Photoshop anything on the pic easily, but this time I need the real thing. :)

Try Speer 124gr +P rounds or South Afican PMP. Lots of flash and sparks out of the Walther P99.

The Blazer Brass I was shooting out of my P228 last Saturday created some really decent muzzle flash.

If you can get a reloader to cook you up some reloads with Power Pistol that would probably be ideal. It is the highest flash canister powder currently available and low smoke. There is load data for 9mm on Alliant's website.
