I remember a previous post where someone mentioned ODNR Grand River Range. Is this the closest ODNR range to Cleveland? If so, where is it located? Thanks in advance!

Grand River is the closest. Next one is Delaware just north of Columbus.

How is Grand River? I've never been there, always go to A&A which is only a few miles away. I like that at A&A you can shoot whatever you want but their benches suck for doing any kind of precision shooting, plus it's $8/hr as opposed to $5 for a whole day.

IMO, Grand River is a pretty nice range. It is more strict than a regular private range but it is very well kept, supervised (for safety), and has excellent benches and a bunch of them too. (Tip: Whenever I shoot off of the bench, I thread my strong side leg between the bench's lower frame rails.) The 3 ranges are fixed 25/50/100 with nothing allowed in-between and only parper targets allowed but personally, I enjoy the range. If I want to shoot something up or use different ranges other than 25/50/100, I'd go to one of the other private ranges I'm a member of (though some of them also have fixed ranges).

Forget the $5 pass, get the entire year.
