Seeking opinions: which finish for Springfield TRP?

OK - not looking for a debate about the relative merits of various makes of 1911 pistols... let's save that for another thread. What I'm asking is this: assuming (as a Marylander - living in a state which now requires all new handguns to have internal locks) I've decided to buy a new Springfield TRP, what finish should I get it in and why? What exactly is Springfield's "Armory Kote" and does it stand up well or would I be better off with the stainless version of that pistol? Looking for your thoughts and opinions - and why you feel the way you do (personal experience with either of these pistols and the merits of one finish or another is a plus - gives much more weight to your opinion, if you know what I mean). Thanks for any thoughtful replies I might get ;)

I like the stainless version for nothing more than asthetic reasons.

Do they make one in a ghost grey finish? It so, that's what I'd pick..;)

If not, stainless steel would be the next best option...:D
