Well, some of us mentioned the possibility after Victoria Snelgrove was killed, and now it's been reported that at least two officers with FN303s that night were untrained in their use. In addition, more facial injuries have been reported which shows that it wasn't just an isolated incident.

Well if that's the case they can say "bye bye" to their jobs. Idiots

WTFO? how many tools are there in this situation and is there any relation?

Robert E. needs to be fired for issueing these weapons to officers not trained to use them.

The PD bought them at a really really good price, that's the only reason they have them.

Training isn't free, and it's not fair to waste money by not using them.

Either way, the public won't let them win.

Here we have at least two untrained officers firing into the crowd, one was even firing from the hip. Where are their defenders from the other thread?

Robert E. needs to be fired for issueing these weapons to officers not trained to use them. And he should be joined by his buddies who were also firing without being trained. Of course both civil and criminal charges should be sought as well.

As one of those from the other thread, who said, "let's wait 'till we have more evidence," I really find this disheartening. I really was hoping that the police weren't acting improperly. I still hope that the one officer who supposedly didn't fire (because he wasn't trained) really didn't fire. I'll even go out on a limb and hope that the account the paper gives is wrong, but I don't really think so.

I'd like to see what the review board that the comissioner is requesting has to say.

Nasty situation for all those involved...

See what happens when you wait for those "fact" things to come out- it might even prove you right.

sendec,

I haven't given up hope, but I have been disheartened, a bit. I am still waiting to see the final results...
