Get the US out of the UN as well -- NOW!
Spend a little time in this site and you will be reminded how corrupt and lamo the UN is, an entity that who would usurp our American soverignty in a heartbeat if given that chance! Actually, their encroachments are more insidious and subtle. Right now we give these jokers BILLIONS of dollars a year. Their ineptitude has been shown recently and they still do not recognize our right to autonomy (i.e. to live under the guidelines of our Constitution & B' of Rs alone)

I think they will become irrelevent in the next couple of weeks. If Bush actually lets another resolution come before the joke "Security Council" and it gets vetoed or voted down, we are going to war anyway. We would then have no more use for the UN and should cease funding them. If American funding went away, so would the UN. Maybe Teddy Kenney, the Hollywood leftists, and the DNC have enough extra money to keep it running but that won't happen. I think we need to get out of the anti US UN ASAP. It was a mistake to go there in the first place. Like it or not, the US is the Roman Empire of the current age and we can pretty well do what we want. Our true allies are and will be with us but the wafflers can go away.

There needs to be some sort of world forum where nations can come together, discuss and come to terms on issues without depending on “gunboat diplomacy” and backroom deals. There also needs to be some way for the “little guy” to be heard as well.
Unfortunately the current incarnation of the UN is NOT the place.
The inmates are firmly in control of the asylum and we are just making things worse by continuing to go along with, and pour tons of money into the charade.
The League of Nations lead to the United Nations. Something will replace the UN. It must as the current organization is a black-hole wasting resources that are desperately needed elsewhere in the world.

Kudos to GWB for standing up in the UN small arms conference, he shut the hoblophobes right out.

It would not surprise me in the least if Saddam Insane were to present all of his WMD to Blicks at the very last moment, if nothing else, to try and make the USA look foolish-of course, none of these spineless hippocrites will pull their head out long enough to realise it was the implied use of force which caused Saddam to change his mind.

At this point, I don't think if Saddam said he had disarmed that we will ever believe him. Every time his lips move he lies. For that matter, I really think the same can be said for most all the leaders in the Middle East. They talk, they lie. Must be a pathological thing with them.
I think war is inevitable. You don't ship 200,000 soldiers over there for a lark. My nephew is over there now. He flies an F-18 Hornet off a carrier. It is not Blix's job to track this stuff down. It is Saddam's responsibility to dis-arm and tell them where everything is. Why we keep screwing around with UN may be for a couple of reasons. 1. To replenish our stocks of smart bombs and missles after the Afghan war and 2. To appease the Brittish Public.
I have to say I am impressed with Tony Blair for sticking with us as he has. Even though he is a flaming socialist on the domestic side, he knows who his friends are and which side his bread is buttered on.
