Compact auto concealment

I just bought a new vehicle and it came with a zippered nylon notebook for the owner's manual. It looks like it would perfectly fit a Glock 36. Being a zipper, access would be a bit slow if I needed the weapon. Does anyone know where I can find a similar case to carry a small pistol? Ideally, it would have a calendar or notepad inside with a place for a pen and pencil, maybe a pocket for my PDA, then a rapidly accessible"hidden" pocket for the pistol accessed via a hook and loop closure. I already carry a wallet, checkbook, PDA and cell phone. I want to add a pistol, but do not want to carry a purse. What options are available to me?

Compact auto concealment

One method would be to drive it under a large truck. But most folks around here just conceal them in a garage. ;)

Have you considered camo paint jobs?

Dillon sells the 'Executive planners' with a holster inside, as well as 'Pager Pals' which conceal a holster also.

Haven't used either but its worth a look see. Subscribe to "The Blue Press" or visit their web-site.

Maybe a small/medium sized fanny pack? The Dillon holster/planners are nice options. My only concern is the potential for leaving a firearm unattended in a vehicle for extended periods.
