How long has it been?

I was sitting here wishing I was at the range instead of work, and then I realized it's been weeks since I've been shooting. With a 10 week old little girl and trying to get settled in a new home, shooting seems to have taken a back seat.
How long has it been for you, and why?

3 to 6 months for me. Probably about 5. I'm so broke right now I can't even pay attention. Ammo supplies for handguns are at bare minimums. Probably won't get to go shooting till after the first of the year.

You caught me at a bad time. Usually shoot weekly, but was on business travel last week.
Will shoot again Friday, I believe.

Almost three weeks now. I just changed gun clubs and I am waiting (impatiently) for my new gate key. The good news is the I am going for more training on Sunday.

I shoot every day. either here at home or at work,
We (my Boss and I) both have our own ranges set up, so I have no reason not to enjoy some fun after work :D :D

Not since the Colorado Get Together on Sept. 11, and the range is right in my back yard!
My excuse? Too many irons in the fire I guess. We haven't had a free weekend since May.

dealing with being a recently diagnoised diabetic
The week I got out of the hospital, I shot my biggest turkey. Helped out ALOT.
Anyway, 9pm last night. 6 pm sunday night, and then 6pm friday night. Does that count as recent :D (not a lot to do here except pick somewhere no ones is hunting and blast away)

Money. $30 for me + missus per trip + ammo makes for an expensive range day.

About a month for me. I try to go to the indoor pistol range at least twice a month.
That's all I really have time for until I finish up my schooling. Winter's coming soon which means me and my buddy will head to the rifle range at his club.
Cold weather doesn't bother him or me, but we usually have the range to ourselves. :D
I like cold weather-testing my rifles too to know that they function.
(Bring on the snow!)

Heh. Last Sunday.
Ran the last nine of my new twenty 30 round AR-15 rounds through function tests. 270 rounds of Federal M193 ball with nary a malf:D Out of twenty magazines I only had one with malfs and boy, did it malf! Bushmaster M4orgery.
150 rounds of .45ACP with my Springfield Loaded.
100 rounds of 9mm with my Kahr P9.
150 rounds of .22LR divided between a S&W K-22 (1948) and a Ciener conversion kit for the 1911.
Total of 670 rounds. Can you say stress relief:D
Saturday before I shot almost as much.
Next week I think I'll take the FN-FAl, the HK-91, the M-1A, and the Remington PSS out to lower my stockpile of .308.
It's like my last lady friend told me as she was dumping me:"You can't afford me and your guns...and I think your guns would win." Very wise woman.

Since I work part time at a range, I get to put a few downrange fairly frequently. One of the fringe benefits I guess. :D

At least 5 months
Had to deal with unemployment, hurricanes, lack of mobility and now long hours at work with no weekends off till Nov 9th
Which coincidentally is my next planned range trip.

About 2 months. I'm away at school, and I have nowhere to shoot. :(
However, since I've discovered the school shooting club, that's about to change. :)

More than a year, the last time I fired a gun was 2 years ago, at summer camp. And it was 2 shots, out of a .22.
Yeah. It sucks.

I shot last week and need to get out there this week now that it's nice weather again.
When I first started shooting here it would cost at least $50 in ammo and range fees, so I joined a outdoor range and pay once a year. I also started reloading so now I always have ammo boxed up and ready to go. I load mags, gather my stuff, head to range and shoot and pay nothing to anyone on the trip. I like it that way. :)

It's been about 2 weeks.
I might get one more shooting trip in, then that'll probably be it until April. :( Utah's winters are fierce.

I visit the shooting range routinely every Saturday afternoon. I definitely must do this to relieve daily stress. Nothing but concentration on shooting and talking guns cures that better for me. Besides, my shooting buddies are the best and most decent guys found anywhere.

Which gun? Missed out on ConTact shooting last week, but got in some skeet and 30-30. This weekend hope to do all three......DINK has it's advantages:D

I voted 24 hours because I went last night. Before that though, it was closer to three weeks. During summers/x-mas break I go weekly/biweekly. This semester in school, I have had so much homework, while working and attending classes fulltime that I have only shot twice since August 25.(Three times as of last night).

About 4 weeks. I no longer have regular access to two places I used to shoot.
But I have nothing better to do today.

A week for me.
I usually shoot at least once a week. The only question I have is what to shoot.

AirForceShooter, welcome aboard. Please don't shoot the airplanes; give them to me.:D
I haven't been shooting since late September.
House issues, working, weather, etc. have all conspired to keep me off the range.
But, there is good news! UPS dropped off 1,000 rounds of .40SW on Saturday so now I am well stocked for my upcoming days off.
Maybe I can get in a sneak-preview tomorrow while I'm in SLC.

Far too long. 3 months. Combination of low funding and lack of a close range.

2.5 weeks and probably won't make it to the range until Saturday some time. After losing $60 at the casino 2 weeks ago, I decided that I have to make up the loss by not shooting... won't be able to make it past this weekend. That's 10 boxes of ammo as far as I'm concerned. I tend to think of money in terms of how much ammo/guns/parts it could buy now... it helps me not waste it as much.
