I purchased a Kimber Pro-Elite in 1995. Recently I checked the safety grip and found that while not engaging it, I could pull the trigger and the hammer would strike. I contacted Kimber and they said to return it. Since I work in Yonkers, NY,
I brought it in. At the end of the next day they called and said it was repaired and ready for pickup. THAT FOLKS IS THE SHORTEST TURNAROUND TIME I HAVE EXPERIENCED AND AM VERY HAPPY!!!!

I just wanted to share some positive news about a company.

I have also always had great service with Kimbers Custom Shop. Your very lucky working in Yonkers.:) As it's costly to ship my Kimber there. Also I would really like to visit Kimber and see where they are being built.:)

Very Cool!

What I like most about having bought a Kimber is that I have no idea how long they take to repair them because mines never needed repair. :D

The only one of my three Kimbers that was sent in for service was to get night sights installed and to replace an ejector that I had broken off by jamming the wrong fully loaded Mag. into my Ultra Carry.:banghead: This was not the fault of Kimber.:cuss:

I would have to agree, my Kimber has been nothing but reliable from the day I bought it.

When I had one, the turn around time was about a week, from me shipping it to getting it back. Very nice.
