The ones I have been seeing run $800 to $900 for Series 70 and pre-Series 70, $700 to $800 for Series 80, and brand new ones are right around $1000.

just to frost you, I got my GCNM Series 70 from a Navy buddy in 1992. He bought it years before for $325, and even though I told him it was at least a $600 gun, he wouldn't hear of taking more than he paid for it. Finally he said he'd take $350 if I let him throw in 5 boxes of 1974 GI match ammo. I caved at that point.

Deals like those can be had between friends, but you won't find such deals in gunshops, gunshows, auction sites, or the newspaper.
