I'm still gathering all the paperwork for mine. I can't find my darn hunter safety certificate! Of course I still haven't gotten the finger print card or picture yet either . . .

Soon though. Certainly before we get CCW in KS

I didn't keep track. It came sooner than I expected. I'll guess 6 weeks.

Just kept hoping that my situation would change. Don't think it will.

My resident app took like 2-3 weeks I think. It was waiting for me when I got back from vacation.

Don't remember how many days they use to say to issue, but mine was 3 days short of it.

I applied for mine while I was still in Korea. When I PCS'd back to the states it was there waiting on me. I sent it out bout 60 days before I headed back to the motherland. Good thing it came when it did cause a day later I gathered up my wife and kids and headed back East to see the rest of the family.

Florida CCW covers quite a few states folks. Its a "must have" if you travel!

Doberman is right. They have 90 days from the receipt of your application packet to either issue the licence or deny the application. If you are denied, they must notify you in writing of the reasons the application was rejected. This gives you a chance to dispute the findings of the Dept.
I'll bet some money that artherd's check was deposited within a week or so from the date the Dept. received it.
