Where is the best place to by an 1861 3-band Springfield? I've seen countless online stores, many of which label themselves as sutlers, but I have no idea where to find a good price and good service.
It would also be helpful if said place sold the necessaries like flask, bullet pouch or cartridge box, and primer pouch.
Thanks in advance.

Go to a NSSA match and buy a used one. One member here came across one for about $200 and asked whether it was a good buy. I told him to jump on it quick!
BTW, you should make cartridges for those guns and carry them in a cartridge box.

How about a Brown Bess or Charleville? Dixie seems a little pricey... or are those going to run me $800-900 anywhere?
