I was thinking, all of the blather and hot air being loosed on the democratic blogs post election has lead me to the same place.

Kerry dumped the election, next day, no questions, he dumped it. If there is, or ever was, a plan to keep the neocons in office, Kerry is a huge part of it.

I guess I just want to know what you think. Could this Kerry roll-over be engineered? Or was he, as he said, just trying to facilitate 'healing'?

:scrutiny:

(or should I put the foil down :D )

Kerry dumped the election? No way. It was 59 million voters that dumped Kerry.

"neocons" ? nice tag, not exactly sure what it means. Something not quite conservative?

Regards.

just checking ;)

Kerry dumped the election? No way.

I was so sure he would make a big scene, kick and spit, just like they did in 2000... but nothing?

I'm so happy Kerry lost, it just struck me as a little odd that he went down so fast and so easy... especially when his leftist followers are blowing their heads off over the results.

Neoconservative – A "neocon" is more inclined than other conservatives toward vigorous government in the service of the goals of traditional morality and pro-business policies. Tends to favor a very strong foreign policy of America as well.

This from lewrockwell.com (http://www.lewrockwell.com)

I'll agree that he sure didn't put up much of a fight. However, there's the small matter of 3.5 million votes more for Dubya than for the Easter Island Statue.

I'm not questioning anything except why he laid down so fast.

Even if there was some big plan for Bush to stay in office ....
you need to believe that John Kerry is apart of it....

No way is Kerry apart of a plan for bush to win!!!
He would be a huge liar!!

the 59 million strong voiced there opinion on Nov 2nd and it will not matter to them!!!

2000 was close. This wasn't.

He was given his walking papers. See ya.

Hillary set him up to fail, so she can win in '08

During the early afternoon on election day, the Dems (Joe Lockhart, Carville, Begala et. al.) came out (undoubtedly encouraged by the phony baloney exit polls) and avowed to all three networks that, thanks to their intense poll watching that this was indeed an honest election. FWIW, the UN "observers" said the same, so maybe they are all in on it.

It's kind of hard when they are already on tape saying it was a fair election to come back two to three hours later and start screaming "fraud" when their guy heads for the tank by a big margin.

In the meantime get an extra roll of foil or two and deal with the fact that America doesn't want an East Coast elitist liberal running the show. And please drop that "Neocon" nonsense. You sound like a DU refugee type, throwing a meaningless invented word around.

Could this Kerry roll-over be engineered?

The voices in my head assure me that your thesis is not correct.

Do, Do, Do, Do....Do, Do, Do, Do......

Your entering another dimension.
A dimension filled with lies, spin, posturing and indecision.
Conspiracy theories run amuck.
Mass colusion between political parties.

A dimension we call the "Tin Foil Zone"

Do, Do, Do, Do....Do, Do, Do, Do.......

Two thoughts:

1. Not as close as the race in 2000 by a long shot

2. 2000 was Gore's swan song - he was done politically; so a burn it all down mentality is possible. Kerry is still a senator and has a continuing career in front of him, perhaps the reason for a more adult approach.

I was just kind of thinking out loud for the purpose of discussion.

"neoconservative" is not a word I just made up, and it is not nonsense.
these people (http://www.newamericancentury.org/) refer to themselves as such.
:banghead:

I was not saying the election was rigged or unfair, I voted for Bush. I just thought it was strange when Kerry mucked it right after the flop.

Kerry is still a senator and has a continuing career in front of him, perhaps the reason for a more adult approach.

This sounds much more reasonable.

Kerry gave up because he new what the result would have been had he challenged. He still would have lost. The Democrats had already taken a bad beating. Challenging the results would only have further alienated fence-sitters who might still be willing to vote for Democrats in the future. Some people always wants to find drama where none exists. Could explain the popularity of reality tv shows.
