Would replacing the the Trigger lever with a C&S model reduce the trigger return on a Hi power ?

If you mean by "trigger return" the pull weight, then yes it does reduce that because their lever moves the pivot point so it gets more leverage. The down side is it gives a longer travel distance engaging the sear, and any creep in the trigger is magnified.

The trigger travel to get back to "reset" is unchanged. The trigger has to be released far enough to allow the trigger "lift bar" to slip back under the end of the sear lever. As far as I know, the reset distance would be about the same.
