I picked up a new U22 the other day. I've seen them around quite a bit, bit never bothered to heft one. Once I had it in my hand, I knew it should come home with me.
The level of fit and finish is excellent. The matte stainless finish is even and non-reflective. The machining on the bolt and breech is very precise. There appear to be no tool marks inside or out. The gun has an overall feeling of quality and solidness. I don't feel that the trigger pull is out of line for a piece in this price range. Some have said that the front sight blade is too wide, but I don't think it is problematic. Others have said that the grip angle is too extreme. I held it up next to my Ruger MkII and found the grip angles to be very similar.
I'm heading to the range this afternoon to try it out. I'll give the range report later on.

This 22lr pistol is on my 'maybe' list. The styling is still a little on the extreme side for me, but still appealing. A nice red dot would complete the look tho

It might be a great little gun but, it's a little too 'Buck Rogers' looking for me..;)

When I first saw pictures of the Neos, I thought "Giugiaro Design" must be Italian for "ugly stick". After seeing one in person and holding it, I instantly warmed up to the design. Pictures truly don't do it justice.
It definitely cries out for a red dot sight.

The only gun I've ever bought because it was irresistibly cute was a PPK. The first time I saw an advertisement for the Neos, I thought it was irresistibly cute.

I'm not going to buy another gun because it's irresistibly cute! I will not! Honest. I wouldn't even consider it. No way.

Range report, please.

They are great .22's! As ive said before, mine is the only .22 ive owned that has NEVER failed even during break in when .22's notoriously have problems. It will shoot any bulk ammo ive tried flawlessly-try that with a P22!

I'm quite pleased with the NEOS. I don't have the tactical Inox variant, but my 6" standard parkerized model has been ticking along without a hiccup for a good thousand rounds now.
