Matt Sutton

I picked up a new U22 the other day. I've seen them around quite a bit, bit never bothered to heft one. Once I had it in my hand, I knew it should come home with me.
The level of fit and finish is excellent. The matte stainless finish is even and non-reflective. The machining on the bolt and breech is very precise. There appear to be no tool marks inside or out. The gun has an overall feeling of quality and solidness. I don't feel that the trigger pull is out of line for a piece in this price range. Some have said that the front sight blade is too wide, but I don't think it is problematic. Others have said that the grip angle is too extreme. I held it up next to my Ruger MkII and found the grip angles to be very similar.
I'm heading to the range this afternoon to try it out. I'll give the range report later on.
