i was browsing autoweapons.com looking at guns i can never afford or easily obtain in my area and i came across a pre may 86 dealer sample CETME m58 that was prety cheap. in the caption it said the it was smuggled in by a drug dealer and confidscated by the DEA. i found this quite interseting. it even had a DEA "EVIDENCE" sticker on it. So what happened, did the DEA sell it to a class III dealer before 86 and then the dealer was able to register it legaly even though it was smuggled in? On another note i always wondered if i found and m16 lets say buired somewhere or in a box in my deceased grandfather's farm house and it was regitered before 86 would i be able to keep it :scrutiny:
