I was at the gun shop and the owner was saying that glock is concidering exchangeing new 10 round mags for proper cap mags. The shop owner has always been strait forward with me ( I think I put one of his kids through college ) and can't see him pulling my leg on it. but it might have to do with the fact that I told him that I was gonna wait untill he got some guns with full cap mags in. so does anyone know if this is gonna happen or if it was a gun shop pipe dream?

Last word I got from Glock is if you want standard capacity magazines, place your order, pay your money, and get in the waiting line.
90+ day backorder as of this point in time.

I would tell him to add 2 off the shelf to the Glock and let him keep the klintonian mags. Many local Gunshops have them for individual purchase.

Not wanting to wait, I dropped $15 each and picked up 6 LEO-marked, 17 round Glock magazines, September 14th. When the supply catches up with demand, I’ll pick up some with out that nasty wording.

thats what I thought, ended up buying a pair of le marked 15 rd mags and then I ordered some new (for carry) and used (for range) mags from cdnn. guess shouldnt complain on 8-15 and 2-10 round mags should do for now.
