Thanks for the link, definitely good for a giggle, and I suspect it will get better as it fills out. It reminds me of a saying my father used to remind me of on appropriate occasions - "It's better to be quiet and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

In looking over the aptly named "Hall of Halfwits", I saw a fair number of people whose work in movies I have enjoyed, but also a lot of very irrelevant 'celebrities'. All in all, there wasn't a whole lot of mental horsepower there, and though I certainly don't know the personal history of many of them, I didn't see any I recall as having served their country or otherwise having had some 'skin in the pot' such that I'd care about their opinion (whether I agreed with their position or not).

I don't know what it is about 'celebrities', but at some point they start drinking their own bath water and liking it. The only thing sadder are the sheople who think these dweebs matter. Go figure.:rolleyes:

I get your point, but given the incestuous nature of the the 'entertainment' community, one can't always avoid them (e.g. my wife doesn't find them as offensive as I do -), it's hard to avoid a lot of intersting contemporary flics that don't have those sorry SOBs. The good news is that some are starting to figure out that they need to keep their politics (i.e. that crap don't sell) to themselves. Nothing like enlightened self interest, eh?
