I've wanted a lever gun for some time now. Since I'd just use it for plinking, it occured to me, why not get something inexpensive to buy/shoot? Plus the GB really looks cool.
Anybody have one or shoot one? Thanks in advance for the input.

The receiver is an aluminum alloy Henry calls Brasslite. The lever and insides are steel. The butt plate is real brass. I keep mine waxed with Johnsons. The long octagonal barrel is very accurate and is a beautiful deep blue. Also, the ability to feed any length .22 cartridge is a big plus.
It is a real eye-catcher at the range, especially since I put on a (very) glossy tung oil finish.
I've never had any trouble with mine and wouldn't part with it.
