Local dealer had the 870 Express HD---18in barrel--extended mag--syn stock--for $329.

Is this a decent price or not??? Main reason I'm asking is that the suggested price on Remington's web site is only slightly higher than this.

Local shop here has them for 300 bucks, so your not far off. Im picking mine up next week. :D

In central Ohio, $279-289 seems to be the going price. I gave 279+tax for mine about a year ago and the prices don't seem to have changed.

Here in Michigan Gander Mountain's price (when they have them, which isn't often) is $279. See them at the gun show for around $300.

I'll second Lee's post about the police trade in's for sale on this forum. The guns Sgtb is selling have gotten rave reviews and you'll wind up with a better shotgun.

Only reason I don't do that here in the PRK is that dealers ask outrageous transfer fees for out of state trades.

I have seen the Express HD from $279~$325 here in the local shops. Some do and some do not mention the mail in rebate.
