It is selling locally for $525 with .41 mag, .44 mag, 30-30, and 25-35 bbls. The .41 mag is 14. in all the rest are 10 in.

Is this a good deal?

Sounds like a good deal to me. I would get it, sell some of the barrels and get different calibers, but all in all it sounds like a bargain.

Contender and barrel prices are all over the map. Virtually all the packages I've seen include barrels I've got no interest in; for that price, however, I'd be tempted to buy the package and sell off the unwanted barrels.

I would be interested in the 44 and 30-30 barrels if you get it and want to sell them. The 41 also if the price was right.

If that 25-35 barrel was a 14, I'd buy the set and sell off everything else. Not a big fan of rifle cartridges in thos e10 inch barrrels tho'.
