Should I use a Wolff 22 or 24 lbs single recoil spring for an officers model? Wolff says the 22lbs is standard (on their web site) but I thought I saw that the standard set up was 24 lbs (I'm assuming with the dual spring set up).

I expect the 22 pound spring should be fine as long as you are running the stock mainspring. Problems seem to erupt when people do the old do-it-yourself trigger job with light springs trick. Yes, I have been there and done that, my 1911's all have the stock mainsprings now.
