most probably Enfield L42 / Enforcer (http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn44-e.htm) or Parker-hale M82 (http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn41-e.htm)

Max is right....most likely an L42. If you look really closely at that pic.....it appears the stock is wood.

that is what i see too, the shortened enfield stock...it looks like a L42
