Preliminary range report is in, and the Ciener BHP conversion gets a "thumbs up". I say preliminary because only one brand of ammo was used and Ol' Rembrandt's eye sight is a little fuzzy.

Used CCI Mini Mag ammo, targets were set up at 40 feet. With a little work and the right ammo I think groups could be better. Would like to try this with a Ransom Rest.

300 rounds and no jams, stovepipes, or failures. Always wanted a "High Cap" .22, thanks to Ciener I can get 14+1 capacity.

I have one of the original Ciener M1911 conversion kits, mounted on a Fed Ord frame (I built the gun myself.) It makes a really nice woods gun and plinker, but isn't quite that accurate. :-(

Aprox cost? Slide lock back on last round? Extra mag cost? Thanks, B36.

About $250 plus another $35 for extra magazines.

Slide does not lock back on the last round.
