Our troops in IRAQ and Afghanistan need rifle scopes and binoculars! Most combat troops are well outfitted but our support troops are working with basic open sight M16s and very few binoculars - and they also frequently come under fire!! As a hunter you know the value of a good scope and a pair of binoculars! If you have a quality US manufactured riflescope with or without rings that can be fitted to an M16 or M4 or an extra pair of quality binoculars please go to:

That the great powers of our Goverments war machine "Under the watch of the W Bush bunch" Are not suppling our fighting men with the needed items? :cuss: I would never have guessed this small item. :rolleyes: I understand that to day W Bush is having the President of Spain at his ranch for a fish dinner of Bass caught right from Bushs ranch pond. :) Bet they have the needed fishing stuff. :)

Sence when did any Mother F :cuss: need CDs and DVDs in a time of war. We never got that crap, our fathers never got that crap, our grandfathers never got that crap and so on and so on.


They need to keep their minds on whats going on, they dont need to be thinking about how many light strands Chevy Chase is putting up this year.


If they got food in them, a place sleep once in a while, and rounds in their mags, and a good par o boots then their liveing good.


But i would be happy to send them things they need to complet the mission.

I hate to sound crass, but I dont see any need to send DVD's CD's and the like.
I have, and will again send gear (clothes, knives, food, etc..) but...damm, DVD's!?

Bad idea.

Sending needed items to our troops sounds like a great idea until think about what this does to the government. These needed items are not being provided because the budget isn't available for them. So, the good citizens of America send the needed items. The government, seeing that we will send the soldiers this needed gear then decide that it can cut the budget for these things on the next go around and EXPECTS us to pick up the slack.
