Who's had success (or failure) with these, and in what shotguns?

Many FTE on my winchester defender and that's supposed to be the gun they work best in. They're also really dirty. No problems whatsoever with standard 23/4" shells. If you can't do it with 8 loads of buckshot, it cannot be killed....run!

I've used them in a Winchester Defender and Remington 870. They were flawless in the defender but would not eject on the 870. There was practically no recoil. I only used slugs.

They function perfectly in a Benelli Nova, the shell lifter is the right kind.

I tried them in an S&W 3000 and an Ithaca 37 -- lots of trouble feeding.
No trouble firing in a Citori, but as victory said, they a very dirty. My experience is a few years old, so maybe they are cleaner now.

We modified the lifter on a Mosberg 590 to get them to feed...they're awfully short...you need to work the action briskly...any lolygaging and they may turn themselfs any which way in the cavernous action action of a pump.
They made impressive power for they're size. - JM.

I put a 5-loop sleeve on the stock of my Stoeger Coach Gun (SxS), and get a shell in the top & bottom of each loop - - for 2 + 10 readily accessible shots.

i got a faile to extract with all of them i tried (mossberg 500). had to knock them out with a cleaning rod.
slug accuracy was abysmal.

We modified the lifter on a Mosberg 590 to get them to feed... What's involved here? And how reliable was it with the mods?

Out of the Nova, six MiniSlugs from 30 yards, accuracy was good enough the other shooter put three of them side by side in the silhouette's neck. I one-upped him and put them all in the left eye. :)

Both the slug and buck load would not work reliably in any of my 870s.
In my old High Standard they would feed, but would hang up in chamber and have to be driven out with a cleaning rod.
In my 1897 Trenchgun they would not fuction reliably.
A friend used them in his 1300, and they did work, but you had to use VERY positive slide action to make them at all reliable.
