Any way to tell them apart visually at the gun store? How do I make sure I have a 2003 model with all tool steel parts?

You might want to call up Wilson and ask what serial numbers are in the 2003 range, and only purchase one with a serial number in the range Wilson tells you.

Average turn time for a Wilson product on a dealer's shelf is less than four weeks. Think its safe to say that all the CBQ's you are going to see are 03'.

Wilson safe enough for Californians and is on the AG approved list?

Skunk,
Just order it....and upgrade the slide stop to the Bulletproof part while you are at it. Also, consider getting your "own" color scheme.....I have one that has a grey armor tuff frame and black slide...looks kewl. I think hard chrome frame and black armor tuff slide would be even kewler.

I thought about a black frame and an HC slide...Will you have it backwards...ever meet a skunk that was white on the bottom and black on top?!?!?!

We'll see. I may have the funds by the end of next month. :D

Downside w/ HC or any bright metal slide is that there might be glare unless bead blasted or matted in some way.
