There is a range. However, I have never been there. It is way too far. :)

The range in Stockton is indeed closed down. Try Gun Room up in Elk Grove just about 40 minutes north on Hwy 99

I work in Stockton and live in Modesto about 35 miles south. I was not aware the range closed in Stockton but if that is the case there is a range in Ripon which is about 20 miles south at Barnwood arms. There is an outdoor range at the Manteca Sportsman’s club that has trap, black powder, 100 yard rifle and a pistol range.

Stockton has some nice places to eat. There is a brewery on Miracle mile that is all right called Valley Brew.

If you can make it down to Modesto I would definitely go to P Wexfords if you like a good old fashion British style pub.

But for ranges I would give Barnwood in Ripon a call.
