Pedersoli info needed

A friend of mine wants to sell a .50 Pedersoli; I believe it's the Tyron standard model. He asked me to put it up for sale on the internet. I don't know much about black powder rifles so I thought I'd run this by you experts.

He says its in very good condition but has a couple of places on the stock where it was bumped; no scratches, etc.
I'm going to pick it up Monday so that I can judge it's condition and take pictures to post.

I think that this model goes for about $575 new.
Is anyone interested in this rifle or know it's used value?

He only wanted $150 for it so I bought it myself.
Now I need to learn about these weapons.
